About Us

My mission is to give you an easy and natural way to banish that baby belly. Many mums struggle with this, including myself, but using this methos has made a drastic change. Within two months, I've lost 15 lbs, and now have the belly shown in the picture. It's still a work in progress, but thats life! :D

Your Part

This will require commitment on your part. I can only offer you the methods that worked for me. If you aren't willing to commit, there won't be any results.

Our Program

My program is the one I personally use. I am not a trainer or anything, just offering my untrained opinion. It has however worked for my mother, who has had four children, and myself after giving birth to a 9lb 12oz 22 1/4 in long baby, and very large placenta. If you are reading this before giving birth, I highly reccomend placetal encapsulation. Not only does it save the body from hormones and withdrawal, it aids in weight loss. This is all safe to do while breastfeeding as long as you stay properly hydrated. And this also works for anyone who's lost weight, not just mums.

Step One

First you are going to need one of these. I bought mine at target for $4.50. Dry brushing is an excellent way to help tighten skin and lose weight. It clears the dead skin off of your body, helping your skin breath and allowing you to sweat out more toxins. It also causes light abrasions to the skin, less than a pumice stone does to your feet, which tricks your skin cells into creating more cells. Thus allowing your body to return ellasticity. the movement helps encourage circulation as well, and the pressure helps break up fat, allowing cellulite to reabsorb into the body and sweat out. It also causes the hair folicals to grow less, making you have to shave less.

Application

You are going to want to do this daily. Preferably before your daily workout and before you shower. So you are able to wash off the skin cells, and sweat better during your workout. Now this is something you do while you and the brush are dry. Also do it before you turn on the shower, and in a steam free bathroom. Any moisture will make it not work.

When using this method, you want to start with your feet and hands and move in toward your body, in long smooth strokes toward the heart. And circular strokes on your bum. Be gentle on the boobies, but make sure you do them too. I like to do my face occassionally, but that is a preference. This is something you do to the whole body, or where you can.Putting more effort into areas you want worked on. Such as cellulite area and loose skin areas. This is something I try to do daily, even when I'm not trying to lose weight.

Step Two

You are going to need epsome salt. I bought a 50 lb bag online, but you don't have to be that drastic. Also like dry brushing, this is a continual life change, though it's not a daily need. The epsome salt allows your skin to expand and retract in a way that causes tightening. It also leaches toxins out of your skin. You will find your first bath very gross after you see the toxins it removes. Rinse after every bath.

Application

You are going to want to take detox baths with 1 lbs of epsome salt, or 2 cups, per bath. You'll want to do this twice a week, and once you reach your goals, you can drop down to once a week.

Each bath should be water as hot as you can stand for at least 15 minutes. Keep hydrated! This will make you sweat profusely. Now ideally, you'll want to wrap in a towel and a blanket and watch a movie or tv show and sweat for an hour, then rinse in a lukewarm shower. However, life is busy and its not required. The bath is, the towel and blanket part isn't.Keep in mind, you want to dry brush before these baths.

Step 3

Moisturize! This is something you'll want to do daily. Apply lotion to your entire body, except your face, and use as much as your body needs. Now i prefer the St. Ives, as shown in the picture above, but any collogen elastin lotion will do. This replenishes your skin as well as softening. Allowing your skin to rebuild itself, and making you delightfully soft. I recommend doing this after your workout. Otherwise your skin won't breath and you'll end up slippery.

Step 4

Castor oil! This heavenly liquid is best when paired with lavender oil, but considering lavender oil is crazy expensive as well as a strong smell that alot of people don't like, its not required. I'm not sure on the science of this, but it works flawlwssly for tightening skin.

Application

You want to put a small amount of castor oilon your hands and rub it into the areas you need to tighten. Or you could add a tbs to your bath water. i reccomend doing this before bed, and allowing it to set over night. You'll feel a bit sticky, so wear clothing so it doesn't get on your bedding.

Step 5

Hydration! Kick that soda to the curb! Actually cutting soda can make you lose a ton of weight just by itself. But it also makes your skin loose and your muscles weak. Water and tea without sugar or milk should be your go to drink.

Application

You're going to want to drink tons of water. Your skin is mostly water, and you need it to have gorgeous skin. Buy a water bottle, not plastic(plastic has plenty or hormones and chemicals that cause massive harm to you. It even has a hormone that causes pregnant women to puke more!), and keep the bottle full. If you feel thirsty, you are already dehydrated. Drinking more water will help you lose weight as well as replenish natural moisture to your skin. If you start to feel an unquenchable thirst, you could need electrolytes. Drinking water in large amounts can flush them out. A gatoraid or coconut water once a week can help that. I don't reccomend poweraid, it has corn syrup, and lets face it, corn is evil.

Final Step

A healthy diet and work out routine is important. Now I will never approve of a temporary diet. But having a healthy dietary plan for the rest of your life is good. My husband and I don't cut out any food, we just eat less of it when we do eat it. We have cut out corn though. I leave the diet up to you. Because every body is different, therfore they all require different foods. Remember, you need healthy fats and protein. Even carbs! You just need them in healthy moderation. Remember, if you eat crap, you will feel like crap.

Now for the work out, if you are trying to get rid of a belly, you need cardio. Lots of it! Now I like to jog, but power walking is ok too. Make sure you take care of your knees and hips. And beware of foot injuries. I recommend the app "map my run". That way you can add friends and are held accountable. Also it records your miles and helps you see where you are. Pick a route that takes you away from your home, that way you have to walk or run home. If you are doing cardio at the gym, remember bikes do not work out your belly. So you'll want the treadmill or the ellyptical. These are weak for workouts though so you need to do at least 10+ miles for it to be enough. However cardio can make you have a funny little bum and tiny thighs that lack muscle tone. So i recommend cardio and squats. I like to find pinterest squat challenges, the leg lifts you do while laying on your side, pliet squats, and push ups. Don't do too many crunches. It makes your stomach pooch rather than slim and tone out. Do them AFTER you reach your goal.

Also, spoil yourself. Buy yourself new gear. New shoes, new clothes etc... It increases your odds of working out because you want to use your new stuff! Below is my routine. I love it. I am a stay at home mum, so I like to wait till my son's nap time, and I let him sleep while i jog! It's perfect! Hopefully this helps, but like I said, every body is different. The main goal here is to set up a daily routine you can do for life. No one is wonder woman, you'll miss a day here and there, but do not let that discourage you. Just get up and keep going.

Now another thing I need you to build is self esteem. Confidence is a lovely thing, you can literally fake it till its real! And I recommend you do! Pick one close friend you can vent to, but to everyone else, you are gorgeous and confident! Honestly, because you are! You aren't fat, you have fat. There is a major difference. And to those new mums, look at that gorgeous perfect baby! Do you think some ugly could make something that's so perfect? No. You are beautiful! You should be exercising to feel better, because if you are doing it simply to look better, you will lose steam and you'll stress too much about losing the weight, and stress causes weight gain. You need to be doing this to feel good and be healthy. This is a life change, not just a weight loss plan. And don't worry about your significant other. He's just happy you're not pregnant anymore! And he loves you the way you are. If you need help with this, I recommend the book, "why men love b****es." I don't recommend being a b word, but it teaches you how to build confidence.

Below is my work out. You don't have to follow it step for step, just use it as a guide line. The weight I've lost so far is nothing to sneeze at. I am leaning out so I can resume my weight lifting and bulk up.

My Routine

I attempt to jog daily, life doesnt always allow that, so I just try to go everyday and let life go as it wishes. Depending on how i feel, I have multiple jogging loops to choose from. I have a 2.3 mile loop for when I'm lazy, a 3.8 mile loop for medium days, a 5 mile loop for daily miles, and a 7.8 mile loop for days I feel AMAZING! I also try to make these loops overlap, so I have a way home faster in case of injury or emergency. Bring a cell phone. If you live in a rainy area, amazon.com has rain coats for your stroller, and contrary to popular belief, you can run in the rain. Just be sure not to catch a chill, and careful not to fall.

I do a booty workout where I get down on all 4s and lift my leg, thigh parallel to the floor, foot to the ceiling with the knee at a 90 degree angle, and I pulse your foot up 40x. Keeping the pelvis even to the floor and the belly sucked in.

I do squats 50+ and i try to find the 30 day "Squat challenges" Be sure to have proper form. You don't want to have an injury. This makes that booty pop!

Whatever number of squats I do, I do 1/2 that amount of pliet squats. This gets rid of that lovely inner thigh. coupled with regualr cardio, your thighs will soon, not touch!

I like to do as many push ups as I can, upping the number every week. Also be sure to do proper form here too. Otherwise they simply don't work. These help perk up the boobies and make your arms and back have lovely tone.

I do the leg lifts where you lay on you side and keep the leg strait and lift. Keep this slow and not too high. Do 40 on each leg. This works the saddle bags, or outter thigh.

And occasionally I do a roll up. You lay on your back one leg bent, so the foot is resting by the knee, and a 5 lb weight in the opposite hand. Keeping the hand strait and toward the ceiling, you roll up, twisting to the side of the bent knee once you have sat up completely then roll back down.

These can be done while watching tv. So there is no excuse not to do them! My son even likes to sit on my back as I do squats. Makes it hard to keep form, but adds a killer 25lbs to your squat.

Good Luck Ladies!
